Distribution Lists

In this article, we will learn how to use distribution lists to effectively manage groups of users with similar needs.
A distribution list (DL) is a logical collection of users that can be managed collectively. DLs can be used to:
  • assign permissions for the entire group
  • subscribe entire group to scheduled reports and automated alerts
To create a distribution you need to be assigned to one of the following roles: Owner, Admin, or Editor. Viewers will not be able to create and manage distribution lists.
From any screen on Infinity, select the
icon from the top left navigation menu and select the
option to navigate to the Add DL screen.
Name the distribution list and add a description to summarize the intent of the DL. Then add users to the distribution list by selecting the
After you add users to the distribution list, hit
to finish creating the DL.
