# Approving Join Requests

When a colleague proactively attempts to sign up for Infinity, we first check if a workspace already exists for your organization. If it exists, then your account owner and administrator will each receive an email alerting to a new user request to join the workspace.

To review join such requests, an administrator can navigate to the user management page and then the<img src="/files/7P4GCCv3jO1TLyfUfgyy" alt="" data-size="line">section of the page. There, they can review the list of users with a pending join request.&#x20;

The administrator can then:

* Approve or deny the join request, and
* Assign a workspace [role](/user-guide/comprehensive-user-guide/7.-user-and-access-management/roles.md) for approved users
